The Start of a Busy Week

Today is the beginning of another busy week!  Looking at my calendar, I was surprised to notice that I do not have class at all this week.  Since June, it seems like I have had class at least once or twice each week.  However, this week is class-free.  While you would think that would mean that I would have an easy and relaxing week that is not the case.  Volleyball season is now in full swing!  I am the JV Volleyball coach at New Hope High School, and we are reaching the point in the season where it seems like we are playing games everyday!  This week we have a game at home today and away games at Ardmore tomorrow and at Hazel Green on Thursday.  I wish I could say that we have had a successful season so far, but that is not the case! :(  Our record is currently 4 - 11.  This means that we have won only 4 games, and lost 11.  Not so good!  We only have 6 players on the JV team, which means that everyone has to play the whole game with no options for substitutions when players are not playing well.  Hopefully we will play well this week and improve our record.
